Today, a new follower asked me a question. He wanted to know why I follow more than 6,000 writers.

Hmmm…that got me thinking…

I don’t follow them; they are dormant, sitting there like useless lumps clogging my list.

This person’s question got me thinking. Over the years, I’ve accumulated writers/followers who requested to join, but for some reason, most stayed inactive.

Some followers occasionally appeared and then disappeared, but I have yet to follow up to find out who they were.

As of today, I already unfollowed about 100 “followers.”

It’s a daunting task.

Is there an easier way to do this rather than clicking one by one?

I wonder.

From now on, I will remove as many as my fingers can manage in a given time and clean up the junk.

Whoever you are, follow up or drop out.

And those of you who stuck with me for years, I cherish you forever and a day.

Over and out!
