I agree that the bible was written by powerful men who had an agenda in order to be able to rule the masses by teaching them to be compliable. But is not to say that it was all wrong and bad. I believe that humans, by nature are barbarians and they need to be told how to behave (noted in a simplistic way). And that's my take.

But most people need to believe in something to make their day go nicer and smoother or to be told the answers they seek. It's good to believe. I don't. I never could. Or maybe I'm like you...I believe in my own way and am not surrounded by four walls.
