I have friends - husband and wife - who are both blind. Tragic story. The husband was born with the macular degeneration gene, so he knew he'd go completely blind. His wife, however, who was his seeing partner, started to lose her sight. No one knew what caused it. Still don't know.

But it never occurred to me to ask whether they see any images.
