I know what you mean.

… I was a small child, I would see insects stuck to my Dad’s car windscreen. That never happens now. Those of us who care must do what we can to provide habitat. Please don’t manicure your garden. Last summer, I saw an elderly couple scrubbing away lichen from their garden. I requested that they stop. Their reply was that nature can be elsewhere. I was stunned.

I know what you mean. My garden has a life of its own. My plants and bushes like to be left be. I like to talk to them. They are great listeners.
