Per Fox Business news, Brian Davies, owner of Body Works Plus Collision Repairs in Charlotte, reports one driver waited 6 weeks for a new bumper to arrive. “It used to take 1–2 days, but our delays have become unprecedented. This is the biggest supply chair issue we’ve had since World War II, and we’re seeing price increases anywhere from 5% to 20% on materials and parts.” It’s estimated this problem will continue until the 2nd half of next year.
