It sounds familiar.

I turned to art and reading at home, between the respites of the welcome escape to Gran’s every summer. When I wasn’t drawing, I was reading. My sketch diaries were filled with images expressing my hopes and torments. And, in the margins of those drawings, I scrawled words… words I later came to understand were poetry.
