Katharine, with all due respect...there is blame on both sides. These poor people in Manhattan sleeping on the streets. There is no room for them. None. Something has to be done.

I immigrated with my family years ago. We had to wait for ten year. Yes. Ten years to get the green card.

We have to feel sorry for people who want a better life. But we have our own homeless living on the streets. We should take care of them first. Sounds simplistic ... I know. But it's a fact. There are poor people in this country.

I blame this mess on just about all politicians. It's not a left or a right issue. It's a human travesty.
