Ouch. What were these people? Primitives?

I’m not criticizing them. I actually think the new color suits both of them and looks fabulous. But, they didn’t grow up with people tugging on their hair to see if it was real, or with people calling them names or shunning them because they looked weird or mean, or asking them if the carpet matched the drapes before they even understood what that meant.
