Similarly, a tattoo remains the way it was when it initially went under the skin. But the person who has it, hopefully grows and evolves and it’s likely that whatever was so important that prompted the tattoo will have faded, just like the tattoo itself. So what to do with a tattoo that no longer means the same thing, years later?
