Trump’s Practical Complexity
Democracy is about having choices, and I refuse to be bullied into voting against my own beliefs by anyone.
It is a well-known fact that Trump possesses numerous personal flaws, such as being a narcissistic bully and his constant crude behavior. But above all else, his insatiable thirst for wealth and fame reigns supreme. His boisterous behavior constantly demands attention, as he is obsessed with how others perceive him. While these traits may not be desirable in a leader, they are unfortunately all too common among politicians.
I don’t expect my president to be likable; I value complexity and practicality above all else. His direct approach makes me feel heard and understood, while other politicians come off as condescending and insincere. Trump deserves credit for trying to bring an end to the era of political correctness in politics. In a world where truth is subjective and personal beliefs shape reality, having a president who speaks plainly and honestly is refreshing.
What truly sets Trump apart is his brazen transparency in his actions. At the same time, most politicians hide behind carefully crafted facades; Trump proudly displays his many flaws for the world to see.
