At the very edges of human communication, embellishments run wild
The Gaza conflict has shattered the illusion of a civilized society, revealing the harsh truth that humanity is merely an empty notion. On October 7th, chaos consumed everything, making terms like “humanity” and “genocide” lose their significance in the face of indescribable devastation.
The genocide concept has done a cartwheel and, to this day, remains upside down. The inaccurate labeling of “genocide” as a means to attack Israel not only lessens its powerful meaning and precise definition but also cheapens and carelessly diminishes the gravity and horror of actual genocidal acts and reduces words and images to mere symbols of influence.
The unfiltered media coverage and the left-wing factions have made it their business to declare war on Israel, and the outcry against the war in Gaza has only caused the truth to become lost in a sea of propaganda and twisted agendas. It’s a false sense of compassion that exposes the savage instincts hidden within us — labeling Israel as a ruthless colonial occupier. At the same time, the brutality of Hamas toward women and kids has been glossed over, excused, and glorified.
